1) Using "Mission to Earth" as an example, note what is new or different about digital cinema compared to traditional filmmaking? Consider the story and apperence of the film.
The story of "Mission to Earth" is interesting. The director give all attension to the vision and recording method. It's different that traditional cinema is mainly focused on the actor and dialogues. "Mission to Earth" is using the script to lend the images flow. What am i talking is director recorded independent scenes to match the sentence of script. So, the director added voice-over in the video and edited the tape. Traditional cinema is opposite to the function between scripe,vision,dialogues and images.
For the apperence of the film, digital cinema can show two frames in one scene. In "Mission to Earth", one frame showed a woman sitting in a train and at the same time, there was a small frame showed the outside view of the train. Also, there is graphics on the video. The graphics are transformed into "pixel" that can show on video and traditional cinema cannot show the graphics.
2) What other art forms (eg film, digital art, painting, websites etc) does this film remind you of? Explain the similarity.
"Mission to Earth" reminds me of experimental film which is using differents form, various abstracting techniques, non-diegetic sound to describe the work.

The opinions of Photographic effects
1) What are some photographic effects that can be achieved using digital or analog (darkroom, file, lights etc) technology?
The most common effect is using colour filter, people can create classic black and white effect or image with different color tone.
The strength of light can change the feeling of photos like sunlight filtered through the leaves.
2) What are some photographic techniques that can only be done using digital technology?
A high quality photomontage can only be finished using digital technology such as changing the proportion of image.
3) What is that difference between analog photography and digital photography?
For digital technology, people can use some software such as photoshop or illustrator to create lots of effects. But, using analog technology need more skills or tools to assist. For example, using flash light can increase the brightness of photos. Second, through digital method, creating illogical images is more easier and natural. But why people are still using tradition camara? I think it's because people enjoy the process of taking photos with effects and want to create their own magic moments. The effect shown in a traditional camara can not expected because the results can be affected by tiny changes of enviroment. In photoshop, the "effect" is just a database, it's imitative.

It's the most convenient, updating website to search information.
The articles can translate in more than 270 languages, it break the languages limits of information flow.
The account quality is controlled by everyone, not person.
As there is no one answer in the world, i can find based concept of things and renew those information in other database myself and train my critical thinking of things.

Responses to Modern (Digital) Times
In the video, the new technologies bring us all-round benefits. In industrial managnment, using industrial machinery can speed up the production and save the production cost. Using less time and less manpower create huge profits. Also, machinery can ensure the quality of things. Industrial machinery and closed circuit cameras work in coordination can improve the production effinciency. The scientists also invent a feeding machine, therefore, people can eat without using their hands. It seems that the new technologies can bring lots of benefits to people. An entrepreneur can sale more goods to earn superprofit and people gain from its convenience.
However, sometimes, the new technology is quite harmful. In the film, the factory's boss called a worker to try the feeding machine. It was useful in the beginning, but it just lost control at the end. The worker was hit by the feeding machine and became mental disorder. Althought the story is a bit exaggerated, it shows the disadvantages of new technologies. In the future, people should use the technologies in a proper way.
For me , using computers really help me a lot of things such as chating with friends in msn and facebook. Also, it's not easy to know the news at hall, so i can updat the news on yahoo.
